About The Fling
Join us for a joyful, community-centered event to support the Fort Greene Park Conservancy and our mission to enrich and nurture Fort Greene Park as a public space that puts community first. Come celebrate, break bread, and dance with us!
Stay tuned to our newsletter and Instagram for updates on tickets, food, performances, and more!
Highlights of the Event:
Honor our Community Heroes
Enjoy a poetry reading from Cyrus Aaron and musical entertainment from the Brooklyn Music School Faculty Jazz Ensemble
Have your portrait drawn by one of our talented Brooklyn-based artists—Janet Pedersen, Mari Renwick, and Amaia Gómez Marzabal—stationed throughout the event.
Close out the night dancing to tunes provided by DJay Jung, the official DJ of the Brooklyn Nets and the NY Yankees!
Complimentary beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages during the cocktail hour
Delicious dessert available after dinner
RSVP Information:
Early bird individual tickets: $75 (July 17 - 31)
Regular individual tickets: $100 (August 1 - September 19)
For guests purchasing three or more individual tickets, we cannot guarantee that your party will be seated together unless a table is reserved. While we will make every effort to accommodate your group, reserving a table is the best way to ensure that your party is seated together.
Tables: $1000 (Seating for up to 8, support a great cause, and receive a special gift as a thank you for your support)
In keeping with the spirit of the event, guests are encouraged to support a local business by purchasing a picnic box prepared by one of our partner restaurants BK Jerk Mobile and Miss Ada, or bring their own picnic dinner (maybe potluck with friends!) Seating at tables will be reserved for those who purchase tickets, but all are welcome to pull up a blanket and join the festive environment!
Note: This event is for guests 21 and up. No pets, please.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
The Fort Greene Park Conservancy provides programming, maintenance, and advocacy to enrich and nurture Fort Greene Park as a community resource and public space for all New Yorkers for generations to come.
